Pomegranate Martinis

Serve these brilliant red martinis at a holiday party, Fourth of July picnic, or disguised as "Vampire Juice" at a Halloween party

Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup vodka
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur
  • Lemon slices for garnish
Directions:

1. Make simple syrup: In saucepan, heat sugar and water over medium until it boils. Stir and set aside to cool.

2. In shaker, combine simple syrup with vodka, pomegranate juice, lemon juice, and orange liqueur.

3. In a large pitcher, combine the sugar syrup with the vodka, juices, and orange liqueur. Stir in crushed ice. Strain into 4 martini glasses.

Garnish each glass with a slice of lemon.
