Peanut Butter Fingers

Easy-to-make bar for quick dessert, tailgating, bake sale or just anytime you're craving peanut butter and chocolate!

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar (firmly packed)
  • 1 unbeaten egg
  • 1/3 c. peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp, vanilla
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
  • 1/4 c. peanut butter
  • 2 to 4 Tbsp. milk
Directions:

Cream butter and two sugars together. Blend in all other ingredients down to the oats (inclusive).
Spread in greased 13x9" pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 mins. until lightly browned.
Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle 1 c. chips and let stand for 5 mins.
Combine the remaining ingredients (should only have three left) in a small bowl until it has a consistency to drizzle with a fork or pastry bag with small hole cut at end.
Spread chocolate chips over peanut butter bar and then drizzle peanut butter mixture over chocolate.
Cool and cut into bars.
