Drizzle some caramel sauce on pears simmered in juices for a sweet fall dessert. Top it off with chopped almonds for texture.
1. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, orange and lemon juice, and orange zest. Bring to a boil.
2. Peel pears, leaving stems intact. Simmer in liquid for 20 minutes or until tender. Cool.
3. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with chopped almonds.
