Double-dip plain caramel apples in chocolate and then give them a festive coat of Halloween-colored sprinkles.
1. Wash and dry apples. Insert a Popsicle stick into stem end of each. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
2. Microwave unwrapped caramels with water for 3 minutes, stirring every minute.
3. Melt chocolate chips with canola oil in microwave.
4. Dip apples in caramel sauce and place on baking sheet for 10 minutes. Roll one side of each apple in chocolate, then in orange and black sprinkles. Refrigerate until caramel and chocolate are set.
